Introductory Activity:

  2. Allow 5 minutes for students to discuss their ideas in small groups.
  3. Ask each group to share their ideas with the class.

Theory:

  1. Explain that the rise of e-commerce has had a significant impact on consumer behavior and the retail industry.
  2. Describe the changes in consumer behavior, including the increased use of online shopping, the ability to compare prices and reviews online, and the shift to mobile commerce.
  3. Outline the effects that e-commerce has had on the retail industry, including the proliferation of online stores, the impact on brick-and-mortar stores, and the changes in the way retailers market their products.

Activity:

  1. Divide students into small groups.
  2. Provide each group with a list of resources (e.g., articles, videos, websites, etc.).
  3. Instruct the groups to use the resources to research the impacts of e-commerce on consumer behavior and the retail industry.
  4. Allow 20 minutes for the groups to research and discuss their findings.

Closure:

  1. Ask each group to present a summary of their research to the class.
