Objective:

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about their job or studies in a basic and simple way.

Materials:

  • Conversation cards with questions about job or studies
  • Whiteboard and markers

Introduction (5 minutes):

  • Introduce the topic of the lesson and the objective
  • Have a discussion with the students and introduce the main language they will be using (e.g. pronouns, verbs, adjectives)

Vocabulary (10 minutes):

  • Show simple illustrations on the whiteboard
  • Explain the vocabulary associated with talking about job or studies (e.g. verbs, occupations, educational levels)
  • Have students match the vocabulary with the illustrations

Practice (20 minutes):

  • Divide students into pairs or small groups
  • Give each group a set of conversation cards to practice talking about their job or studies
  • Have the students take turns asking and answering questions

Conclusion (5 minutes):

  • Ask the students to summarize the main points from the lesson
  • Remind them to practice using the language they learned in their conversations
