Objectives:
• Students will be able to accurately explain their daily routine activities in simple English
• Students will be able to use correct tense forms and appropriate language for describing their routine

Materials:
• Whiteboard and markers
• Vocabulary handouts
• Sample dialogues

Procedure:

  1. Introduction (5 minutes):
    • Explain the purpose of the lesson: to practice talking about your daily routine
    • Introduce vocabulary related to daily activities (get up, go to work, etc.)

  2. Group Activity (15-20 minutes):
    • Ask the students to work in pairs and think of the activities they do on a typical day
    • Give the students a few minutes to work on this
    • Ask volunteers to share their routine with the class

  3. Model Activity (10 minutes):
    • Show a sample dialogue of someone describing their routine
    • Point out the use of verb tenses and other language structures

  4. Guided Practice (15-20 minutes):
    • Ask the students to work in pairs and practice describing their daily routine
    • Have the students take turns describing their routines to each other
    • Monitor the students and offer help as needed

  5. Individual Activity (15 minutes):
    • Ask the students to write a short paragraph about their daily routine
    • Give the students a few minutes to work on this
    • Ask volunteers to share their paragraph with the class

  6. Conclusion (5 minutes):
    • Ask the students to summarize what they learned
    • Ask the students for feedback on the lesson
