Describing your daily routine

Objectives:
• Students will be able to accurately explain their daily routine activities in simple English
• Students will be able to use correct tense forms and appropriate language for describing their routine
Materials:
• Whiteboard and markers
• Vocabulary handouts
• Sample dialogues
Procedure:
Introduction (5 minutes):
• Explain the purpose of the lesson: to practice talking about your daily routine
• Introduce vocabulary related to daily activities (get up, go to work, etc.)Group Activity (15-20 minutes):
• Ask the students to work in pairs and think of the activities they do on a typical day
• Give the students a few minutes to work on this
• Ask volunteers to share their routine with the classModel Activity (10 minutes):
• Show a sample dialogue of someone describing their routine
